Summary of Funding
Core Funding is on a year-to-year basis and consists of contributions from CHCP Fairer Scotland Fund and GGNHSB (who have guaranteed £80,000 on an annual basis), Income Generation and organisational and management overheads from the other Projects within the Stress Centre
SCOPE was initially funded by the Big Lottery until April 2006. A total of £147,350 was awarded for a three year period from 2003 – 2006. We were also awarded an additional two years funding from the Big Lottery securing 100% funding for 2006-07 and 50% for 2007-08. This project ended in 2008 but the Stress Centre continues to provide support to current volunteers.
The Choose Life Project was funded by Choose Life Action Fund, who initially awarded £70,698 for 2004-2006 and The Robertson Trust, who Awarded £21,000 over three years from 2004-2007. In light of The Robertson Trust Funding being until 2007 Choose Life commited additional funding to ensure services continued until March 2007. The Stress Centre continues to provide services at The Stewart Centre and Castlemilk Health Centre in 2008.
Youth Stress Centre was initially awrded three years from 2004 – 2007, from GGNHSB - £60,000, Community Fund - £119,186, Esmee Fairbairn - £54,388 and Lloyds TSB - £19,000. We have recently secured 5 years funding from the Big Lottery Investing in Communities Fund a total of £608,770 and £50,000 from GGNHSB for the continued development and delivery of youth services.
Future Builders Seedcorn Fund provided £28,949 to develop a funding strategy and fund a post to market services that will increase the income generation to the project, resulting in sustaining the services to the community.
In addition to the above we also host a post funded by GGNHSB Mental Helath Services. This Work Development Co-ordinator post supports people with mental health problems along the pathway to work
